Introducing a free weekly mini-retreat celebrating God's beautiful creation: NATURE!

“What I know of the divine sciences and Holy Scriptures, I learned in woods and fields. I have no other masters than the beeches and the oaks.” (Saint Bernard of Clairvaux)

Everybody needs a break now and again, whether it's putting up our feet after a strenuous day of yard work or cleaning, enjoying a cup of coffee or tea as a mental respite from work or study, or taking a quiet evening timeout at home from the constant, stressful demands of an insistent smartphone!

We'd love for you to take a special break with us this summer and discover—or re-discover!—the joy that connecting with God's creation in nature offers us all. Like Saint Bernard, we can come closer to God through being mindful of the world that he has gifted to us.

Every week for eight weeks we'll send you your own sacred break: a reflection on God and nature, a quote or poem to inspire you, a suggestion for drawing closer to the abundance that God provides for us in the natural rhythms of creation.

So join us! Take a break to nurture your spirit: to drink deeply from the well of God's Word and to rebalance your life, absorbing the peacefulness of nature and finding serenity in the beauty and care of the natural world around us, no matter where you might discover it.
